From Dec 1, most Greater Noida development body's dues can be cleared

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is set to discontinue its offline payment services from December 1 and has written to all banks associated with the authority in the matter.

 

Offline payment, along with the online services, however,will be available to farmers, allottees of residential plots up to 200 square metres (sqm) and industrial plots up to 400 sqm, officials said.

 

“From December 1, we will stop offline facility except for farmers, allottees of residential plots of size less than 200 square metres (sqm) and industrial plots of size less than 400 sqm. They will also be encouraged to go for online payment of all their dues,” Narendra Bhooshan CEO GNIDA told TOI.The move is aimed at ensuring digital transactions and reducing time spent on the offline process.

 

According to officials, payment under at least 80 heads are made by plot allottees to the authority, including allotment and instalment amount, additional compensation, and various kinds of fees -- for development of Abadi plots, CIC, booking community centres, completion charges, compounding charges, conversion charges, duplicate map acceptance, extra area, extra construction charges among others.
