BENGALURU: In a bid to sell 1,349 unsold flats in its residential projects at Chandra Layout, Kanaminike, Kommaghatta and Konadasapura, BDA will hold a mela at Konadasapura Residential Complex, off KR Puram, on Saturday.

Interested people can pay the initial deposit by demand drafts or online transfer for the flats they wish to purchase and receive allotment letters on the spot. Banks are also participating in the event to facilitate on-the-spot loans for buyers. The flats will be registered in favour of buyers in 10 days if the total sale consideration is paid within as many days of allotment.

According to BDA officials, flats in its residential projects at Kommaghatta, Kaniminike, Nagarabhavi and Konadasapura are available for purchase at the mela. More than 50% of the flats at Nagarabhavi have been sold but the response for its flats at Kaniminike, Kommaghatta and Konadasapura has been poor, where over 50% of the units have had no takers.

A BDA official said they constructed 120 3-BHK flats in Nagarabhavi and 80 of them were sold. BDA built 2,276 flats at its six projects at Kaniminike, Kommaghatta and Konadasapura and only 967 of them have been sold. In Konadasapura itself, 210 of 672 flats have been sold, he said.
